Inside Fishburners, a Sydney start-up hub

  • Computerworld Australia recently visited Fishburners' Ultimo, Sydney office, a co-working space for tech start-ups and entrepreneurs. Spread across several floors, the not-for-profit co-working space gives fledgling and established tech start-ups access to a boardroom, a dedicated desk and other office facilities.
  • Around 150 tech start-ups now operate out of Fishburners.

  • Workspaces include a full-time desk and shared hot desking.

  • General Assembly offers start-ups a variety of learning opportunities, from 90-minute classes to long-form courses.

  • Fishburners plans to lease out its newly acquired groundfloor space to six start-ups at $1710. The space will include two dedicated boardrooms and a smaller meeting room.
