New software suite adds features and functions to EPSON's large format printers</p>
<p>Sydney 7 December 2004: EPSON Australia has released a suite of software utilities for its large format PRO Graphics printer range. The new software range includes ZEHPlot, PageProofer and CopyFactory which add capabilities and functionality that make large format printers easier and quicker to use.</p>
<p>The new software suite is suitable for use by architects, engineers, educational institutions, professional photographers, mini-labs, service bureaus and copy shops.</p>
<p>The ZEHPlot software turns the EPSON Stylus Pro 4000, Stylus Pro 7600, Stylus Pro 9600 or Stylus Pro 10600UC large format printer into a high-end, network CAD plotter and is fully compatible with the most commonly used CAD file formats.</p>
<p>ZEHPlot makes it possible to print HP-GL and HP-GL/2 file formats created on MS-DOS applications. For large design offices, ZEHPlot can direct output to multiple EPSON printers simultaneously. ZEHPlot will be bundled with future sales of the Stylus Pro 4000, Stylus Pro 7600, Stylus Pro 9600 and Stylus Pro 10600UC printers, and sold separately for existing users.</p>
<p>PageProofer is a ready to use program that enables users to colour manage, preview and organise multiple photo images prior to printing, including batch proofing the same image or different images with different colour profiles at the same time. PageProofer also includes Colour Management using ICC profiles, manages both CMYK &amp; RGB images at the same time and proof images on either the monitor or printer and is available for the EPSON Stylus Pro 4000, Stylus Pro 7600, Stylus Pro 9600 and Stylus Pro 10600UC printers.</p>
<p>CopyFactory is a new plug and play software solution for the Stylus Pro 4000, Stylus Pro 7600, Stylus Pro 9600 and Stylus Pro 10600UC printers. This program enlarges ordinary sized photos and documents into larger formats without losing image quality. CopyFactory acts as an interface between the EPSON range of desktop scanners and large format printers to enlarge small documents and photographs into large format documents such as A2 posters with the touch of a button.</p>
<p>ZEHPlot retails for $145 (inc. GST), PageProofer retails for $195 (inc. GST) and Copy Factory retails for $175 (inc. GST) and are available through authorised EPSON PRO Graphics dealers. For full product specifications on these and other EPSON products please refer to www.epson.com.au.</p>
