Network Appliance Appoints XSI Data Solutions as New Australian Storage Reseller Partner

<p>Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP), a leading provider of enterprise network storage solutions, today announced the appointment of XSI Data Solutions as a storage reseller partner for Australia.</p>
<p>The appointment reinforces Network Appliance’s strategic commitment to broadening its sales channel in Australia and New Zealand, providing greater growth opportunities for its leading storage solutions.</p>
<p>XSI Data Solutions was founded 18 years ago and is the largest Australian-owned and managed data storage company. XSI specialises in disk, tape and network-based storage solutions and is an expert in both NAS (network attached storage) and SAN (storage area network) strategies.</p>
<p>The company has 45 software and hardware engineers who operate from branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Adelaide. XSI has more than 600 customer sites Australia-wide, including many of the Top 200 companies.</p>
<p>Simon Green, Network Appliance’s managing director for Australia and New Zealand, said the appointment marks a strategic milestone in NetApp’s channel strategy.</p>
