Microsoft developing a smaller 7-inch Surface tablet, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The US media outlet has published a report today suggesting Microsoft's new range of Surface tablets which will include a 7in model.
This smaller tablet will compete with Apple's iPad mini and the Google Nexus 7. It is expected to go into mass production later this year and will compete directly with Apple's iPad mini and the popular Google Nexus 7 tablet.
