Ludowici Wins Record US$51 Million Contract In Peru

Ludowici has been awarded a record US$51 million contract from an existing client in Peru. The contract is the largest for vibrating screens in copper processing Ludowici has ever won. The deal is for quantity of Ludowici’s high capacity vibrating screens and will be used in a copper crushing and grinding operation.

Patrick Largier, Ludowici CEO and managing director, noted that the Latin America client is one of the company’s most important clients. According to Largier, the company’s vibrating screens are leading edge products which perform extremely well in the world’s most demanding mineral processing environments. Just last week, FLSmidth announced it had agreed on a Scheme Implementation Agreement to offer A$10 per share for the proposed takeover of Ludowici.

Ludowici has experienced robust growth within the major global mining markets and has embarked on an ambitious expansion of its footprint. The expansion is targeted at providing local service and support to Ludowici’s clients in all locations. Ludowici has participated in major mining undertakings within Australia, Africa, North America, Latin America and China. The projects manifestly demonstrate the strength of the global Ludowici brand.
