Mobile social networking company MOKO.mobi (ASX:MKB) has secured an agreement to launch its platform with Virgin Media in the UK.
The company has arranged to provide MOKO.mobi to Virgin's mobile customer base, in a deal that includes integrated portal links from the Virgin Media mobile portal, subscription billing and premium MMS.
The company expects to begin generating revenue from the project in the September quarter.
Announcing the deal, MOKO.mobi said it considered the deal an important win in a market that has “prolific mobile social networking usage.”
And in January, the company arranged to buy UK-based mobile social video service EyeVibe, which was operational on all the major UK carrier networks.
MKB shares stayed flat on Monday at $0.084.
