Mobile payment company Mint Wireless (ASX:MNW) has signed a partnership deal with TBS Enterprise Mobility to sell a jointly-developed product in the UK and Europe.
Under the agreement, TBS Enterprise Mobility, which is a premier independent software vendor to Motorola, will sell a version of its TaskMaster workforce management platform that uses Mint's Enterprise payment solution.
This system will allow TBS customers to accept chip and PIN as well as debit card payments by field workers wielding mobile devices.
TBS has agreed to promote the additional payment functionality to both its existing and new customers, initially in the UK and Europe, and then in other countries.
Mint Wireless and Motorola first teamed up to provide the Mint Enterprise payment software application to Motorola's PartnerSelect members, and this new agreement builds on that partnership.
In a statement, Mint Wireless said it expected the deal to lead to the acquisition of new customers.
MNW shares stayed flat on Tuesday at $0.027.
