Praemium adds share trading to online suites

Online financial portfolio administration company Praemium (ASX:PPS) has revealed it has partnered with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (MSSB) to add online share trading to its offerings.

Praemium has added online trading functionality to its V-Wrap and SMARTwrap online financial management platforms, with full broker services to be provided by MSSB.

The online trading service also includes research and model portfolios from MSSB and market data services from Praemium.

Praemium CEO Arthur Naoumidis said the company aims to develop a frontier share trading solution with the tie-up.

“We have spent a significant amount of time developing this functionality to ensure we make it easier for financial advisers and their clients to invest in equities on our platforms,” he said.

PPS shares on Friday grew 5.26% to $0.200.
