World Reach secures Inmarsat deal

Telecom equipment provider World Reach (ASX:WRR) has revealed its subsidiary has scored a deal to build a terminal product for Inmarsat.

Under the arrangement, World Reach subsidiary Beam Communications will design, manufacture and distribute a FleetPhone terminal for Inmarsat's Global Satellite Phone Services family of products.

Beam plans to launch FleetPhone in the first quarter of 2011. Financial terms were not disclosed.

WRR shares are currently trading 20% higher at $0.006.
