iCash denies Customers takeover offer

Electronic payment company iCash Payment Systems (ASX:ICP) has denied reports it has received a takeover offer from Customers Limited (ASX:CUS).

The company said neither Customers nor any other company has offered to acquire iCash.

“iCash is presently considering all of its options in connection with enhancing its value in its subsidiary neoICP Korea,” company secretary Tony Teng said in a statement.

ICP shares are today up 14.06% to $0.365, but are down from the stock's closing price of $0.350 at the end of September.
