Powerlan unit named NSW Export Award finalist

IT services provider Powerlan (ASX:PWR) has announced its OSS subsidiary, Clarity, has been named one of six finalists in the ICT category at the 2010 Premier's NSW Export Awards.

Powerlan said more than 90% of Clarity's sales had been to the export market, and that the vendor has more than 35 telecom company customers worldwide.

“It is a great honour to be recognised for our strength in the international marketplace,” Clarity CEO Jon Newbery said. “Clarity has the foresight and ability to constantly innovate itself in order to stay relevant to the changing global market dynamics.”
