World Reach shares jump 16% on $2m order

Shares in telecom equipment provider World Reach Limited (ASX:WRR) have jumped more than 16% after the company announced it had received a $2 million order from Telstra (ASX:TLS).

Telstra has ordered World Reach's SatDOCK hands-free in-vehicle docking station for Iridium satellite telephones. The deal also includes orders for the latest Beam IntelliDOCK and Beam RapidSAT solutions.

The units will be sold through Telstra's sales channels. Deliveries should commence in September and be complete by February 2011.

WRR shares are currently trading at $0.007.
