Transol music arm elected to APRA, AMCOS

Technology and mining investment company Transol (ASX:TNC) said its 80%-owned subsidiary, Valleyarm Digital, has been given full membership in two performers' rights associations.

The company has been elected into APRA, the Australasian Performing Right Association, and AMCOS, the Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society.

The election gives Valleyarm the ability to represent its Asian publishing catalogues for the collection of mechanical and public performance royalties in Australia and New Zealand.

Transol director Angus Edgar said the right to clear, receive and distribute royalties will “further [monetise] the company's content in these territories.”
