Aevum and FKP confirm merger talks

Retirement village operator Aevum (ASX:AVE) and FKP Property Group (ASX:FKP) have confirmed they are in talks over a potential merger.

The companies confirmed confidential negotiations over a merger between Aevum and FKP's listed subsidiary Forest Place Group (ASX:FPG).

Aevum confirmed reports of a scrip merger at net tangible backing of $2.66 for Forest Place and $2.02 for Aevum.

But both stressed that there was no certainty that the negotiations would lead to a transaction.
