Hostech (ASX:HTC) buys D2K's Townsville operations

Telecom services provider Hostech (ASX:HTC) has acquired D2K's Townsville customers in a cash-and-stock transaction.

Hostech has paid $90,000 and 1.1 million shares for the operations, in a purchase the company said will help expand its operations.

The acquisition is expected to have a positive impact on earnings in the current financial year.

HTC shares are today trading 5.3% lower at $0.018.
