Sirius (ASX:SIU) unit wins $300k contract expansion

Software and services company Sirius Corporation (ASX:SIU) has won an expanded contract from the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.

The department will pay Sirius, through its subsidiary InfoMaster, an additional $300,000 fee in exchange for unlimited use of the unit's AssetMaster asset management suite.

AssetMaster is now being used to manage over 43,000 road lights, 30,000 traffic signals and other assets, Sirius said.

“This is fantastic news for InfoMaster,” Sirius group managing director Frank Licardello said. “We welcome the opportunity to work with [the department] as they extract more functionality from the system.”
