Vocus (ASX:VOC) wins $9m deal with Vodafone NZ

Telecom service provider Vocus Communications (ASX:VOC) has won an NZ$11.3 million ($9.05 million) contract to provide international data capacity for Vodafone New Zealand.

Vodafone New Zealand will source 100% of its international data capacity from Vocus, the parties said.

Vocus had already been providing capacity to Vodafone in New Zealand, but to a much lesser extent.

The multi-year term contract will take effect once existing agreements expire.
