ICT company Computronics (ASX:CPS) has revealed that its soon-to-be-acquired online payments subsidiary, Point of Pay, has won a milestone contract in the Pacific.
Point of Pay has signed an agreement with a Pacific bank to roll out its POP Payments Network to the Pacific Islands and Papua New Guinea.
The rollout will be the first integration of the POP Network, a platform for remotely making secure debit or credit card transactions.
Computronics has arranged to acquire Point of Pay in a deal announced in May. Once the deal is concluded, any contracts negotiated prior to the agreement will be given to Computronics along with the rest of Point of Pay.
