Telecom NZ (ASX:TEL) has submitted a revised tender on the role it will play in the development of a national FTTH network in New Zealand.
The bid details Telecom's proposal for meeting the government's goal of FTTH available to 75% of New Zealanders by 2019, Telecom CEO Paul Reynolds said.
But the specific terms of the bid are confidential, he added.
“I firmly believe that Telecom, through Chorus, can deliver more fibre, faster and more efficiently than any other partner while avoiding duplication and waste,” he said.
