Stratatel expects FY10 profit slump

Software and services company Stratatel (ASX:STE) expects FY10 profit of between $350,000 and $400,000, the company has revealed.

The expected result compares to profit of $1.2 million in FY09. The company said the likely reduced earnings are down to continued investment in sales, marketing and technical resources.

By contrast, revenue is expected to be $11.5 million to $12 million, compared to $8.1 million in FY09.

Directors have yet to decide whether to declare a final dividend, and will do so on the finalisation of its full-year accounts towards the end of August.
