Service Stream wins $500k contract extension

Industrial services company Service Stream (ASX:SSM) has been awarded a two-year contract extension from Telstra (ASX:TLS) over the provision of access and associated services.

Service stream will provide over 60% of Telstra’s outsourced installation, maintenance and construction of copper and fibre networks, business worth an estimated $250 million per year.

The revised contract now covers the whole of Western Australia and South Australia, in addition to existing areas in Queensand, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and Northern Territory.

Service Stream earned $220 million from the previous contract this financial year.
