DataSquirt donates SMS platform to elephant charity

DataSquirt (ASX:DSQ) has donated its CONTACT SMS service platform to the Elephant Family Charity for use during the upcoming Elephant Parade London 2010.

The Elephant Parade will consist of 255 pieces of art that represent life-sized elephants, designed by artists and designers such as Lulu Guinness, Sir Paul Smith and Tommy Hilfiger. They will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

But members of the public will also be able to donate to the charity through the SMS platform.

The Elephant Parade hopes to raise £2 million ($3.3 million) for Asian elephants during the exhibition.
