NetComm's recent buys exceeding expectations

Modem and PC peripheral vendor NetComm (ASX:NTC) has revealed that its recent acquisitions, Call Direct and O10 Communications, have been performing ahead of expectations.

NetComm acquired Call Direct in late 2008 for its 3G engineering capabilities and line of products, and then acquired broadband technology developer O10 Communications in mid-2009.

In an update to investors, NetComm CFO Wayne Trattles said that Call Direct has been pulling its weight as a standalone company, and the O10 acquisition opens up opportunities to be involved in the NBN projects.
