XTEC appoints Robert Sykes as interim CEO

Security technology developer XTEK (ASX:XTE) has appointed Robert Sykes as its interim CEO while it searches for a permanent replacement.

Under the terms of Sykes' employment contract, he will be employed for a six-month period beginning July 12.

He will be eligible for a fixed salary of $100,000.

During the course of his employment, both XTEK and Sykes plan to hunt for a permanent CEO for the company.
