Telecom NZ offers money-back trial for XT network

To help coax cautious customers back to its XT mobile network, Telecom New Zealand (ASX:TEL) is offering a 30 day risk free trial.

Customers signing up to a two-year plan while purchasing an XT mobile or mobile broadband dongle can return the product within 30 days and receive a refund.

“If you’re not completely happy with our network and services within 30 days, we’ll refund you the price of your phone, and any monthly charges you’ve signed up to,” Telecom head of mobile marketing Liz Wilson said.

The XT network was recently hit with multiple sweeping outages, in a series of developments which left Telecom and supplier Alcatel-Lucent red-faced.
