SEEK’s (ASX:SEK) net profit grew 13% to $36.6 million for 1H10, as more and more job hunters took to searching online for jobs.
The company, which operates the seek.com.au jobs portal, said online listings now comprise 78% of all job ads.
SEEK’s revenue rose 19% to $130.4 million, but its ebitda shrank 1% to $55.8 million. While earnings per share fell 4% to 10.9 cents, the company raised its interim dividend 16% to 5.2 cents.
SEK shares have grown 6.1% to $6.950 since today’s announcement.
