IT outsourcer and network security provider ASG Group (ASX:ASZ) has won a $35 million IT services contract with WA utility company Western Power.
The five-year contract will see ASG deliver data centre facilities, mid-range infrastructure, network and VoIP manged infrastructure services for the electricity company.
“We are very pleased to be selected to provide IT services to one of Western Australia’s most critical infrastructure providers,” ASG executive Murray Rosa said.
ASG’s contract pipe line now stands at more than $450 million, he added.
Meanwhile, ASG has launched a new data centre facility in WA that will be used to provide services such as cloud computing, software as a service, shared services and disaster recovery.
