Kordia back to 1H profit on strong Aus result

New Zealand broadcast and telecom service provider Kordia has announced that its Australian operations performed strongly in 1H10, helping the company swing back to a half-year profit.

The company said it earned a net profit of $1 million, compared to a loss of $4.4 million for 1H08.

“Kordia Solutions Australia has again delivered a strong result, and has a good pipeline of work for the next six months from a broad base of customers and industry sectors,” Kordia CEO Geoff Hunt said.

He added that the main business had reduced its net debt from $105.4 million to $101.1 million.
