The US bondholders which won a court claim against pokie maker Aristocrat Leisure (ASX:ALL) have requested US$233 million ($214.4 million) in total damages, the company said today.
But Aristocrat said it is reviewing the proposal, and intends to request certain reductions to the damages amount.
The bondholders won a US District Court claim against Aristocrat last month, after the court ruled in favour of claims they were entitled to damages.
Aristocrat said it was not required to decide whether or not to appeal the verdict until the damages have been ascertained.
