Clothing retailer Kathmandu (ASX:KMD) has made its debut on the ASX following the company’s IPO, trading at an over 4% premium over its offer price.
The company’s shares opened at $1.77, a 4.4% premium on its offer price of $1.70. The total value of the IPO was $322.5 million.
Kathmandu said it had entered conditional trading until CHESS allotment notices and holding statements can be dispatched, which should occur next Thursday . Normal trading will commence the following day.
Kathmandu has also commenced trading on the New Zealand stock exchange.
