Mermaid Marine Services (ASX:MMA) announced it has won contract worth $32 million over the next two years to provide stevedoring services for the Gorgon Gas Project.
The company will provide stevedoring and related services for the project’s North West Supply Base, Mermaid said.
After the first two years, the equipment and personnel requirements will be reviewed and new figures will be agreed upon. The contract has an initial term of four years.
The $50 billion Gorgon project is a joint venture between the Australian subsidiaries of Chevron, ExxonMobil and Shell.
