Sydney Airport increased its ebitda 6.2% year-on-year last quarter, as the company experienced its first quarter of traffic growth in a year, parent company MAp group (ASX:MAP) said today.
The company’s ebitda of $171.1 million was also a 3.4% increase over the previous quarter. Revenue increased 4.6% y-o-y – and 2.8% quarter-on-quarter – to $212.0 million.
Total traffic increased by 0.9%, as passenger volumes finally returned to growth.
The airport recorded an EBITDA of $496.9 million for the first nine months of 2009. The company said that adjusting for $5 million in one-off income last year, revenue increased 1.5%
