Suncorp CEO conducts management shake-up

The new chief executive of financial services provider Suncorp-Metway (ASX:SUN) has shaken up the company’s senior management, promoting two executives and dismissing several others.

Group CEO Patrick Snowball has appointed Mark Milliner to lead the company’s personal insurance business, replacing Bernadette Inglis, who will lave the company.

Anthony Day, currently an executive general manager, will take over Mark Milliner’s current role as group executive of commercial insurance.

Meanwhile, Snowball has elected to shake up the company’s human resources department. He plans elevate the role of HR leader to group executive level, dismisss current HR head Stuart McDonald after 14 years, and conduct an internal and external search for a replacement, the company said.
