Internode launches MiFi subsidy offer

In preparation for the launch of the Apple iPad in Australia, ISP Internode has launched a cut-price offer for its Wi-Fi access point.

The MiFi wireless access point is about the size of a business card holder. It costs $399 unlocked, but Internode is now offering it for $299 when bundled with a 24-month Nodemobile 3G broadband contract.

Internode said the Novatel Wireless-developed MiFi was currently the only five-star accessory for the iPad, based on current reviews.
