Codan appoints new CFO

Radio, satellite and metal detection manufacturer Codan Limited (ASX:CDA) has announced the appointment of Michael Barton as chief financial officer and group financial controller. Barton had been group financial controller for five years before stepping into the new role. He succeeds outgoing CFO, Rick Moody.

Since hitting a low of below 5c in December, Codan’s share price has skyrocked to over a dollar this year giving it a market capitalisation of $143M. Codan closed up 6c today at 93c.
