SEEK invests $23.5m in Malaysia's JobStreet

Online employment company SEEK (ASX:SEK) has doubled its stake in Malaysian-listed JobStreet Corporation for 70.9 million ringgit ($23.5 million).

SEEK lifted its stake in JobStreet to 21.3% from 10.1% with the purchase, paying around 2 ringgit per share.

JobStreet operates employment websites in the Southeast Asian region, with significant share in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.

The company also has a holding in Taiwanese employment provider 104 Corp.
