e-Pay Asia receives offer for Malaysian business

Electronic prepaid mobile top up service provider e-pay Asia (ASX:EPY) has entered into a trading halt while it prepares an announcement about an offer to buy its Malaysian operations.

The company requested the trading halt to last until the announcement is made or until April 13.

The Malaysian business is one of three of e-pay’s operations – the company also operates in Thailand and Pakistan.

EPY shares were suspended at $0.130.
