ACS Victoria announces Pathways scholarships

Three senior IT staff have been selected to attend the CIO Executive Council’s Pathways program

The Australian Computer Society’s Victorian branch has announced it will sponsor three senior ICT managers or potential CIOs to attend the CIO Executive Council’s Pathways program.

Pathways is a 12 month professional leadership development program – designed and delivered by CIOs in Australia and overseas – that helps IT executives further develop their skills.

The three successful applicants, selected from a pool of candidates, are Brendan Charles, Steve Dusting and Heather O’Connell. These applicants were chosen in recognition of their achievements and for their potential to make a difference in the application of ICT.

As ACS-sponsored participants in the program, they will be provided with practical skills and exposed to a network of like professionals to help promote their careers.

The CIO Executive Council is an independent subsidiary of IDG Communications, publisher of CIO magazine.
