VenuesWest is looking for a chief information officer to lead the organisation's ICT strategic plan in a newly created role.
The CIO role at the West Australian provider for sports, recreation and entertainment venues will be responsible for the management and delivery of the organisation’s ICT strategic plan.
The CIO will also lead the information management team in the delivery of ICT services.
Applicants must have well developed project management skills and experience in information management and leadership and management in a multi-site networked environment.
While VenuesWest’s office is located at Challenge Stadium in Mount Claremont, the CIO will be required to be mobile between the organisation’s facilities.
Applications for the CIO must address three key criteria: Demonstrated experience in driving organisational transformation through technological innovation, including experience in change management; demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills relevant to complex information systems and corporate data management; and demonstrated well developed project management and organisation skills.
VenuesWest manages Western Australia's major state-owned sporting facilities, including Midvale SpeedDome, Arena Joondalup, Perth Motorplex and Perth Arena.
The CIO will report to the director corporate services.
