CenITex finds new CIO

Fiona Caldwell tasked with developing applications, information architecture

Former Tatts Group business systems group manager, Fiona Caldwell, has been appointed chief information officer of Victorian shared services agency, CenITex.

According to news reports, the agency had advertised for a new CIO in November 2011 after dissolving the position two years ago.

Caldwell will be developing CenITex’s applications and internal information architecture. In addition, she is tasked with overseeing new internal ICT programs and managing the organisation's business systems.

In her previous role with Tatts Group, Caldwell managed system development and application support for the group’s ICT systems. During her five years with the company she established a shared services IT function.

The appointment follows that of former Victorian Police CIO, Michael Vanderheide, as CenITex chief executive officer in July last year.
