Telstra has announced it will offer the 4.3-inch HTC Sensation Android smartphone exclusively from next month.
Telstra now has some 13 Android-based handsets in its portfolio with the Samsung Galaxy S II in the way.
Last month the telco launched the Motorola Atrix smartphone and Xoom tablet.
Andrew Volard, director of mobile products at Telstra, said the Sensation is HTC’s flagship device and will launch exclusively on the Telstra network in July.
The HTC Sensation features Android 2.3 ‘Gingerbread’, a 4.3-inch qHD touch screen (540x960), a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and eight megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, 1080p HD video recording and 1GB of internal phone storage.
The storage memory is expandable up to 32GB with a MicroSD card and a 8GB card is included.
The Sensation is built with contoured glass edging, metallic speaker grills and a single piece of aluminium for the body.
