Beyond creative thinking to radical thinking, fearless leadership, and entrepreneurship that goes beyond the comfort zone.

3. Energising the team

Ability to seize initiative and create environments where people can excel, diversity is valued, lifelong learning is encouraged and achievements are rewarded. Ability to create and support leaders, not followers, thereby stimulating the entire business to flourish.

4. Delivering true results

Ability to raise the bar, meet daunting challenges and deliver results via innovation paths that may be neither straight nor smooth. Possession of strength and courage to execute and learn: To make the tough decisions sooner and get it right more quickly.

5. Personal excellence, integrity and accountability

Leading by example to establish a sound foundation for others by modelling personal excellence, using tools such as 360-degree self-actualisation, and adhering to ethical standards, integrity and accountability.

Maintenance of skill and competency by continuing focus on learning and development, both academically and experientially, using business reference frameworks such as Six Sigma.

Be authentic, credible and trustworthy, or risk contaminating the business’ vision, diminishing your authority and influence, and inhibiting the implementation of true leadership.
