Nickel West (NiW), part of the BHP Billiton Group, is on the hunt for an information management commercial and governance leader to report to the CIO and deliver the company’s information management strategy.
The position, located in Western Australia, was advertised on Seek and notes the successful candidate will be responsible for IM compliance to ensure BHP Billiton standards and policies.
“Through execution of the sourcing plan, you will establish BHP NiW wide commercial arrangements for all non-enterprise IM services,” the advertisement read.
“In addition, you will have ongoing responsibility for a large portfolio of IM contracts and services, including management of key vendor relationships and performance management of contracted IM services.”
The successful candidate is required to have substantial experience in IT sourcing with a global service provider, strong leadership and management skills when it comes to developing and mentoring staff, and being a team leader.
