The Government of Western Australia is on the hunt for a new CIO for its Rottnest Island Authority to implement transformational change to business systems, infrastructure, processes and technology.
The authority manages Rottnest Island, which is situated off the coast of Perth, and is searching for a CIO to be responsible and accountable for providing ICT management systems and services to enable the organisation to achieve its strategic, corporate, and governance objectives.
“The position is therefore accountable for the development and implementation of the Agency’s business systems, infrastructure and technological change management program, including assisting with associated business process change,” the Seek advertisement read.
“These services include information, records and communications technology management.”
According to the ad, the successful candidate must have experience in leadership and the delivery of organisational outcomes within a strategic ICT management context and multi-site ICT environment.
They must have extensive experience in driving organisational transformation through technological innovation, including managing change throughout project lifecycles.
Additionally, candidates must require experience in the development, implementation and management of ICT services, stakeholder management and negotiation skills, as well as team leadership skills.
