In Brief: WA ICT companies to showcase success

Western Australia’s Information Technology and Telecommunications Industry Awards now open

Western Australian ICT companies have the chance to showcase the past year’s success at the 20th annual Western Australia’s Information Technology and Telecommunications Industry Awards (WAITTA), to be held on 8 April next year.

The awards, for which nominations are now open, recognise the success of companies in the state in ten different categories, including:

  • Achiever
  • Exporter
  • Infrastructure
  • Product
  • Regional
  • Security
  • Service Delivery and Training
  • Student Project
  • Telecommunications
  • Innovation

Last year’s winners include internet service provider, iiNet, technology exporter, Landgate International and students from Curtin University.

Businesses of any size can enter the competition with entries closing on 15 December 2010.
