Technology giant Hitachi Data Systems has announced the launch of its first Hitachi Cloud Services suite.
The storage solution is aimed at providing customers the ability to tap into cloud storage securely and pay only for what they use.
Chief strategist at Hitachi Data Systems, Miki Sandorfi, said the model will allow companies greater flexibility in the cloud.
“Our uniquely integrated approach enables organisations to adopt a cloud computing model at their own pace and in a cost effective manner that builds on the investments IT organisations have in place today,” he said.
Hitachi said in a statement that the service “is expected to help organisations lower the TCO of their NAS environment by at least 25 per cent”.
