BlueScope Steel has renewed its contract with outsourcing company Capgemini Australia for another six years.
The Australian steel company has held a service delivery contract with Capgemini since 2002.
The renewal of the agreement will see Capgemini "continue to manage and deliver human resources administration, payroll, accounting and procurement support services to BlueScope Steel for its Australian and New Zealand business".
Vice president of the shared services division of BlueScope Steel, Karen Lowe, said the company was satisfied with the deal.
"We have been pleased with our relationship with Capgemeni through the term of the last contract, and they have worked with us to deliver cost savings during the difficult business conditions of the last two years," Lowe said in a statement.
"The further cost saving initiatives and service delivery improvements we plan to deliver with Capgemini are important to us."
