Microsoft’s annual IT professional meet, Tech.Ed, has sold out a month before the the event is due to begin on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Tech.Ed Australia 2009, to be held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre from September 8-11, has filled all 2,400 places in record time.
This year, attendees have the opportunity to give the soon to be released Windows 7 a work-out in ‘the world’s largest’ simultaneous test-lab environment.
The test will be facilitated by 2,400 wirelessly networked HP Mini 2140 notebooks, which Microsoft will give out to attendees.
Microsoft says certification will be the focus of this year’s event, with more than 300 attendees expected to gain qualifications.
Training sessions and practice tests will be provided by Microsoft on-site and attendees will receive a 40 per cent discount off certification exams.
