Integ acquires Trade Centre Products to build competencies in emergency services and call centres

Sydney, 9 December 2003: Integ Communication Solutions, a leading Australian-owned integrator of voice, data and IP business communication solutions, today announced that it has acquired Trade Centre Products, a specialist communications equipment integrator, from Trade Wind Marketing.

The acquisition will allow Integ to strengthen its offering, to include specialisations in emergency operator consoles, call centre quality monitoring, voice recording and archiving and high end LED display boards. Trade Centre Product’s customers, representing major airlines, financial institutions and government emergency services, will be transitioned into Integ’s customer community, joining organisations such as Emirates, Baulderstone Hornibrook, SalesForce and Leo Burnett.

“Trade Centre Products and Integ are highly complementary, both in terms of the services we offer and the customers we work with,” said Ian Poole, CEO, Integ. “So it made a lot of sense for us to acquire Trade Centre Products which included customers, inventory and staff. In our active pursuit of acquisition opportunities this allows us to strengthen our presence in key markets such as emergency services and mission critical technology solutions.

“Driven by the growth of Internet Protocol (IP), customers are demanding intelligent and highly specialised communication applications,” Poole continues. “By combining Trade Centre Product’s core business of niche applications with Integ’s strong market coverage and capability in voice and data communications, we are providing a solution to meet these demands. This will drive our ongoing growth and success.

“This is very positive for Trade Centre Products’ customers, who will benefit from the synergies the deal brings and Integ’s ongoing high levels of support for their technology solutions”, said Frank Favretto, director of Trade Wind Marketing.”.
