ComOps Establishes Offices in New Zealand

ComOps has launched offices in New Zealand and appointed Mark Heard as Sales Manager based in Auckland.

<p>Auckland, 4 November 2008 - ComOps, a leading Australasian provider of business software products and services, has launched offices in New Zealand citing robust opportunity for its suite of business software solutions among both local public and private sector organisations.</p>
<p>At the same time, ComOps has announced the appointment of Mark Heard as Sales Manager based in Auckland. He will have responsibility for driving sales, building a partner channel and managing local customer relationships.</p>
<p>ComOps develops and markets a range of ERP, Business Intelligence, Mobile Sales Force Automation, e-Commerce, Retail, Risk Management &amp; Safety Compliance, Workforce Management and Human Capital Management software solutions. Its customers in Australia include organisations such as Toll Holdings, Coca-Cola, Berri, Golden Circle, Australia Post, Toshiba, Orica, Lexmark, Canon, Queensland Government, NSW Lotteries, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and AMP.</p>
<p>In New Zealand, the company has already deployed solutions with, KiwiRail, SkyCity, Hyatt Auckland, Coca-Cola , Orica Consumer Products, Toll Holdings, Bradken and a number of district health boards and plans to grow on this initial success across these market sectors in the year ahead.</p>
<p>Heard joins ComOps with more than 20 years’ experience in sales and management, including 12 years within the IT industry. Most recently, he spent four years as Business Development Executive at TelstraClear where he successfully built a key account team in Auckland which was focused on building and maintaining relationships with major companies in the region.</p>
<p>Prior, Heard was Australasian Strategic Business Director for three years with Jade Software Corporation where he focused on the education sector selling the world-class Jade Student Management solution.</p>
<p>He joined Jade from Ariba, a leading provider of B2B commerce and collaboration solutions, where he was New Zealand Country Manager and successfully established the company’s New Zealand operations, including its partner strategy, alliance program and sales pipeline.</p>
